Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 large eggs @ room temperature
1 tsp. french vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 3/4 cup barley flour
2 cups dark chocolate chunks
2 dozen cookies
1. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla together and beat until fluffy.
2. In a separate bowl, mix soda, salt, and flour.
3. Add dry ingredients to wet, and stir in chocolate chunks. You can also add 1 cup chopped glazed walnuts here, if desired.
4. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
