dAZZLING Low-Calorie bARLEY fLOUR bROWNIES
This recipe only has 179 calories per brownie!
1, 9x13 pan
1 stick unsalted butter + 2 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. baking cocoa
1/2 cup low-fat sour cream
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 cup barley flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. 1% low-fat milk
Preheat oven to 325.
Grease and flour a 9x13 baking dish.
Melt butter over low heat in small sauce pan, adding baking cocoa when melted and stirring until smooth and well blended.
Add butter/cocoa mixture to sour cream, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
Add in flour and salt. Mix till combined.
You can also add nuts or chocolate chips to the brownie batter before baking.
Bake 39 minutes.
Optional: After removing brownies from oven, place Andes Mint Parfait Thins (4.67 ox. box) on top of warm brownies. Let soften, then spread over brownies and let cool.
